"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."         - Benjamin Franklin

Hello,
I’d like to take the opportunity to welcome your family to Broadway Elementary School. I am pleased to have your child in my class this year. Kindergarten is such a fun and exciting year. It is such a wonderful grade to teach! The progress that the children make throughout the year is extraordinary. I know that you will be amazed to see what great readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, artists and thinkers they will all become.

I’d like to tell a little bit about myself with you. I was born and raised in Montgomery Country area and have a degree in Elementary Education from Sam Houston State University. This will be my second year at Broadway Elementary. I’m so excited to be your child’s Kindergarten teacher!

I know it can be hard to say goodbye to your child as they begin their journey through school and I want you to know that I take the responsibility of being your child’s teacher very seriously. I am committed to their education, academic success, safety and wellbeing.

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
