Broadway Elementary is proud to announce that we earned 1st place in the 2026 H-E-B Plastic Bag Challenge with an incredible total of 11,137 plastic bags collected!
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, families, and community members, Broadway was recognized for going above and beyond to help keep our environment clean and promote recycling efforts. As a reward for our achievement, our campus received a special visit from H-E-Buddy and a $350 gift card from H-E-B.
The excitement across campus during H-E-Buddy’s visit was unforgettable, and our students were thrilled to celebrate this amazing accomplishment together.
